About Freya's Tribe

Freya’s Tribe is a model run site.  We cooked up this idea about a year ago and have been taking pictures ever since, while our good friend Veggicide did some hard work trying to make our ideas a reality on the web.

The two main people who came up with the idea for the site are Rowan and Syn.  We (Rowan and Syn) have been roommates for over a year now, and good friends for over 10 years.  We’ve been there for each other through many different circumstances, but making this site has certainly been unique!  Thalia, a good friend of Rowan’s, joined us later as a model, which we were both thrilled about.  Alice, a friend of Syn’s (for over 15 years now!), has chipped in her brilliant photography services, which have been invaluable to us.  And of course, we can’t forget Veggicide, who has slaved away over code to make this site a reality.  Although somewhat newer to our very small circle, he is a good friend and a hard worker.  He has created this site while holding down another full time job, and has remained good natured while being bossed around by head strong women

The four of us are all quite poor.  Rowan and Syn are students, and Thalia and Veggicide work at jobs where they don't get paid enough.  So while our site may not be as fancy as some of the other sites, you can rest assured you are not funding an evil, money making corporation, and are helping us do things like buy food and pay rent

From the beginning we wanted Freya's Tribe to have the following:

• Photo galleries and slideshows
• Forums that will discuss a variety of topics, like sex, music and politics    
• Personal profile for both models and paying members
• Private messages to models and other members
• Can leave comments on different sets of photos
• Can read and leave comments on the girls blogs
• Can read, submit and comment on articles and stories 
• Ability to upload personal photos

   

   

  We've managed to pull all this together, and we're hoping that our site is not just a place to view girls naked, but also a community, where people can share their thoughts, ideas and stories.

   

  The Goddess Freya

  

   

   

  Freya is a Norse Goddess who is a warrior

  Goddess as well as being the Goddess of sensual

  love.  Freya had many lovers as well as being

  married (clearly an open relationship).  However

  she loved her husband very much, and when he was

  turned into a sea monster she stayed by his side and

  comforted him.  Freya was considered very sweet

  and generous, and has many interesting stories,

  including one where she sleeps with four dwarves in

  order to gain a necklace.  She had a very special bond

  with cats. There will be more to read about Freya in our

  articles section, but our reasons for choosing her were

  that she was obviously a complex Goddess, sexual, loving,

  • 18 folders
  • 31 tables in the database
  • 32 C# code files / not including the C# behind webpage files which would be 46.

  And its still not done !! But it is close.
